How It Works
How Do Classes Meet?
Classes meet online through the use of internet meeting sites. Students are involved in instruction through the additional use of iPad applications.
What Is Class Size?
Small class instruction is interactive, attention getting, and all students participate. The goal is for students to be relaxed and involved in their learning. The small class makes interactive instruction with less stress possible. The number of students in a class is 3-6.
When Do Classes Meet?
Classes meet Mondays through Thursdays in the mornings from 8:30 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. Pacific time. There is a yearly calendar available under The Schedule on this website.
What is the Additional Special Homework/Study Class?
On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays a homework/study class is offered from 6 P.M. to 7 P.M. Pacific time. Students may sign up for these as they need or they may attend all these classes. This class time gives support for a student in doing and learning academic work.
What Are Class Subjects?
All curriculum is based on state and national standards. Quality instruction materials, reliable internet sites, and excellent textbooks are used for instruction.
The class subjects are: Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science.
