A Reading Problem-Dyslexia?
There are many types of reading problems. One of the most difficult to remedy is Dyslexia. Dyslexia is a learning disability that makes it difficult for a student to pronounce words and comprehend the information in sentences.
One dyslexia issue is where the reader leaves out little words in sentences or adds little words to sentences. This changes the meaning of the original sentence. It is important to use text to speech applications for the student who does this. This gives the student the advantage of having the information read correctly.
Spelling is also an issue for students with dyslexia. Many do not hear the sequence of the letters in a word correctly. These students spell according to what they “hear” in their brains. It is best for dyslexic students to be allowed to use a computer with spelling and grammar checks in the software.
