Learning history using an interactive story-telling technique works well.
Using the cause and effect relationship about an event or concept in history helps the student put the information into memory. If the student can create a story about what happened, who did what, why they did it, and the final result, then the student can tell this story. All the details will be in memory. As the student is telling the story, the details from memory will appear like a picture book unfolding.
This technique will help the student during test taking. The student will easily be able to recall all of the details of the event or concept.
