Neatness in Math

Most students do better with any arithmetic and math work if the work they are writing is neat and logical like the steps in a problem.

Students do well if they use 1/4 inch graph paper for their math work. This keeps the problem flowing vertically and being written correctly. Putting math work on lined paper is not as helpful because the problems do not get lined up vertically.

Most arithmetic and math teachers will agree that the neatness in math work helps students succeed. Get your student some graph paper and try it.
